Step 5: A new tab will open and you find few featured plugins. On the right side of your screen, you will find a search option. You need to search for the plugin and install it. Type User Capabilities on the search bar and install and activate it.
Step 6: After you activate the plugin you will find a new tab under the Users tab. To make it simply take step by actions so that you don’t get confused. Click on the user tab. This tab has all the information about the users who are currently on your WordPress website.
Step 7: Now you will see that there are few more tabs under the user’s tab. After you activate the plugin you will find a new tab has been added under the Users tab. The new tab is capabilities. You can control all the user capabilities from this tab. Click on the Capabilities tab.
Step 8: You need to select roles first. You will find a section on the right side of your screen from where you can select a role. Select the role ‘Editor’ and click on load.
Step 9: Under the editing capabilities you will find pages options. You need to uncheck edit, edit others. Edit published and edit private. You can also remove the deleting capabilities.
Step 10: When you are done unchecking all the required options just click no save changes. This will update the permissions of editors.
